Leszek T. James - CEO/President and Member of EZUniverse’s Board of Directors
Leszek James is a successful entrepreneur, software development pioneer and the leading force behind the creativity and innovation of EZUniverse’s® global operations. Mr. James holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has more than 27 years of experience in IT. He has successfully developed several information technology solutions for major corporations. As the Founder and former President of Metrosoft® Inc., he was the key technology architect for numerous sizable companies, including a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Fred Alger Funds, Reich and Tang, Cortland Trust. His product portfolio includes the design and worldwide deployment of several successful technology initiatives, including a fund supermarket system which was adopted by the some of the largest financial institutions in the world, including State Street Bank, Bank of New York and Barclays Bank. While at EZUniverse® Inc., Mr. James engineered and co-designed the unique .APP rapid development application platform (2003), which transformed the company into a successful product and technology incubator. Under his direction, the company has become the preeminent provider of Operational Intelligence & Management Technology. The portfolio of world class products pioneered by Mr. James includes the following: (1) EZLink™, which was successfully deployed in 2006 for one of the world’s largest banking institutions – Deutsche Bank; and (2) EZConnect™, which is currently being implemented by the largest QSR chain in the world throughout its entire franchisee network. Mr. James has also co-founded: (i) LGBS Software, the U.S.-based premier outsourcing group, whose 300+ employee engineering team is supporting most of EZUniverse’s® technology initiatives; and (ii) Intermedium Financial LLC, a rapidly growing financial services company which was recently sold to Stone Castle Financial Corporation in a multi-million dollar deal in 2017.
Fabrizio Colciago, Chief Technology Officer – a senior executive with experience in software and hardware design. Prior to joining EZUniverse Inc., Mr. Colciago spent 6 years with March Networks where he was CTO and Managing Director of Europe and was responsible for global R&D, technology strategy and March’s European Division. Prior to March Networks, he founded CIEFFE in 2001 and grew it from a startup to a leading international player in the video securityvideo security industry. CIEFFE was acquired by March Networks in 2008. While running CIEFFE, he won the prestigious IFSEC security award for best product and several other awards for product innovation in video security two consecutive years.
Ronald J Saldarini, Ph.D. - Member of EZUniverse’s Board of Directors
During his tenure as President of the global vaccine business of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (1986-1999), the company introduced several new vaccine products, including Prevnar, HibTiter, Tetramune, Acel-Imune, PnuImune 23, Menigicoccus C conjugate and Rotavirus. Subsequent to his retirement,Dr. Saldarini founded Biological Initiatives, a private consulting firm providing service to the vaccines and pharmaceutical industry. Until September, 2009, when the sale of Medarex to Bristol Myers (BMS) was concluded he served as Lead Director of Medarex, Inc. He is Second Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Trustees of Community Blood Services of Paramus, N.J. where he the Chairman of the New Jersey Umbilical Cord Blood Bank Scientific & Medical Advisory Panel. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of CTI Life Sciences. He is an associate at Naimark & Associates, consultants to the healthcare industry. He has been Chairman and member of the following boards, Idun Pharmaceuticals until its sale to Pfizer Inc. in 2006, Therion Biologicals, Alphavax, Inc., and Medavante, Inc. He also was a director of Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has served as a consultant several vaccine companies, on four committees of the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine, the Malaria Vaccine Initiative and has been a member of several committees/boards as the National Vaccine Advisory Commission, The Blue Ribbon Search Committee for the selection of the Food and Drug Administration Commissioner, the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation of Infectious Disease, the Immunization Advisory Council of the New York Department of Health, the Policy Board of the Albert B. Sabin Vaccine Foundation, and the Corporate Council for the Childrens Health Fund. Dr. Saldarini has a B.A from Drew University and a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas.
Peter Strom - Member of EZUniverse’s Board of Directors
Peter Strom joined the EZU Board of Directors in 2017. Peter is President and CEO of March Networks, having joined the company in 2003. Under Peter’s guidance, March Networks has grown from a start-up to a leading provider of IP video solutions with over $100 million (U.S.) in annual revenue. In 2005, the company completed a successful IPO, and in 2012, was acquired by the Infinova Corporation. Prior to joining March Networks, Peter served as President and CEO of Gyyr, Inc. (1999-2002), a California-based video storage manufacturer. There, he led the company’s digital transformation, returning it to profitability. Before Gyyr, Peter was VP of International Operations (1997-1999) with Ohio-based Mosler Corporation, where he expanded its global reseller network into 40 countries and helped establish a Beijing-based joint venture banking security company. Prior to Mosler, Peter held positions with Sensormatic Corporation and Honeywell International. A native of Sweden, Peter speaks Swedish, English and French, and holds a B.A. from McGill University and an M.B.A. in International Business from Concordia University.
